These are laminated and reinforced layers of leather and are much stronger than a typical single hide bracer. The leather is cut in a unique fashion, utilizing a gentle arch and taper that allows excellent wrist action. Sculpted with smooth flares at the top and bottom, all edges are rounded and burnished. No skin is pinched or exposed as each bracer has a recessed leather tongue under the buckles. They will not lay flat and limp like low end versions. With top grain on both the inside and outside and using up to 3 times more leather than cheaper armour; their combination of comfort, strength and good looks is I believe unmatched.
